I/O-errors and missing files on Rackham and Snowy closed
If you had any jobs running or starting on Rackham or Snowy between 18:00 on Tuesday and 12:00 on Wednesday please take extra precautions and check that they completed without errors. If you have any doubts we recommed you re-run your jobs.
Due to yesterdays problem with the Rackham and Snowy storage system it is known that several running jobs received I/O-errors (“iostream error”, “transport endpoint shutdown”, and similar) and users have reported that files appeared to be missing during that time.
We expect the above problems to be fixed since 12:00 yesterday. If you have any questions please contact email@example.com.
