Castor server outage lead to stale files, temporary login block in effect closed

On March 8 (which luckily coincided with the maintenance day), one storage server in Castor unexpectedly shut down. While we replaced the server the same day, the sudden outage resulted in stale files (not corrupted) in Castor, the home, and project storage for many projects in Bianca, which need to be repaired. Although progress is being made, we will not be able to repair all stale files across all projects in Castor by the end of today. We apologize for this inconvenience. For projects still affected by stale files, we have temporarily blocked logins while we are working on fixing them.
