Regarding Bianca and remote host key warning closed
Earlier today, between 10:00 and 12:00 an unexpected configuration change occurred on the jump host bianca.uppmax.uu.se, which resulted in the regeneration of the remote host key. As a result, users may receive warning messages when attempting to connect to Bianca, such as:
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
@ WARNING: REMOTE HOST IDENTIFICATION HAS CHANGED! @
@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@
IT IS POSSIBLE THAT SOMEONE IS DOING SOMETHING NASTY!
Someone could be eavesdropping on you right now (man-in-the-middle attack)!
It is also possible that a host key has just been changed.
In this case it was as the warning text mentioned “just changed”.
We want to assure our users that the issue has been identified and is being promptly addressed. The correct host key will be reinstated within a few minutes, and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.
