May maintenance window closed
The May maintenance window will begin at 09:00 CET on May 5.
- No queues will be stopped.
- The UPPMAX Cloud will be online but might get shaky.
- The Lutra offload storage system will be restarted.
- All systems will receive system updates and security fixes.
On May 3, we will connect a new storage system to SSC East-1 / UPPMAX Cloud. The new system will enhance cloud storage capabilities and improve performance. The current storage system will run alongside the new storage while we make adjustments. However, we need to restart the volume component in Cinder during the configuration process, which may affect the creation of new volumes and virtual machines.
Also on May 3, we will perform maintenance and restart the Lutra offload storage. If you are an offload-storage user, note that you will lose access to your offload-project directory. If you have or plan to start jobs involving reading or writing data to your offload-project directory, ensure they complete before 09:00 on May 3. We advise against starting jobs from your offload project storage directory in general, regardless of maintenance.
Any disturbances on the accessible systems while the service window remains open should be assumed as related to the service window. Please hold contacting the support until the service is announced completed. You can follow our progress on this page throughout the day.
