Issues creating and starting VMs in the UPPMAX Cloud closed

This issue sadly remains under investigation. We apologize for any inconvenience caused as we understand this issue seriously affects production work. We have been struggling to catch up with falldown related to the power outage and most of the time today was spent on debugging connection issues in the Bianca cluster. We aim to solve this issue early tomorrow.

There was a significant power outage in southern Uppsala 09:32 2022-08-22 (Monday). This disabled power to most of our systems, as well as our cooling, which is critical for operations. The UPPMAX cloud was returned into production evening on 2022 but we have since gotten reports of spurious network issues related to booting VMs and assigning DHCP. We are investigating these issues.
