Power outage closed

There was a significant power outage in southern Uppsala starting at 09:32. This disabled power to most of our systems, as well as our cooling, which is critical for operations.

At this moment (09.55) power has been back for a few minutes, but issues might remain for several hours. We will need to evaluate if anything was damaged and bring the systems back up in an orderly manner.

All running jobs have unfortunately been terminated. Jobs that were waiting in queues will be started when the systems return to operations.

Bianca has returned to production. Please note that the Slurm queues will start a bit slow as we re-add nodes as they become available.

Miarka and the UPPMAX cloud is back in production. Bianca will most likely return to production early tomorrow. We have tried to take this unfortunate oppertunity to complete a few of the most critical upgrades we had planned for the september maintenance day. If all goes well tonight the result will be that no queues needs to be stopped for Bianca in september.

The systems Rackham and Snowy are running in production.

We are still working on UPPMAX Cloud, Miarka and Bianca.
