July maintenance window closed
The July maintenance window will start at 09:00 CEST on July 7.
- No queues on will be stopped.
- All systems will receive system updates and security fixes.
Any disturbances on the accessible systems while the service window remains open should be assumed as related to the service window. Please hold contacting the support until the service is announced completed. If the problems remain after the service window has been closed you are of course welcome to contact the support at support@uppmax.uu.se.

We will start doing a rolling update of our systems. Less jobs than usual are currently running on the systems due to the power failure yesterday evening.

We are focusing on Bianca and Dis which were affected by the power failure. We will then continue with updating our systems.

We continue working with Bianca and Dis to get services up and running again and will then then continue working with our other systems.

Due to problems with mainly Dis and Bianca because of the the power outage we are a bit behind schedule with the system upgrade, but we are now working with the upgrade in all systems.

Updates are going through for Rackham, Snowy and Irma and most parts have been updated and are back into service.
There is an issue with new jobs being dropped on Irma sometimes. We are investigating.

Most of the computation nodes of Rackham and Snowy are now updated and up and running again. The login nodes for Rackham has been updated and rebooted. We will continue with the stragglers tomorrow.
We are working with a rolling update of Irma.

We are waiting for the last jobs to finish so that all nodes can be updated and rebooted. This usually takes some time and is normal for a rolling update.
