May maintenance window closed

The May maintenance window will start at 09:00 CEST on May 5.

The queues on Rackham and Snowy will be stopped as we perform maintenance work (ExaScaler update) on the project storage system Crex.

Any disturbances on the accessible systems while the service window remains open should be assumed as related to the service window. Please hold contacting the support until the service is announced completed. If the problems remain after the service window has been closed you are of course welcome to contact the support at support@uppmax.uu.se.

All systems are back in production and we can declare the maintenance window closed.

Update 2021-05-05 15:00

The update of ExaScaler (Crex) is almost finished and we expect to take the clusters back in production soon. We continue with Bianca and the UPPMAX Cloud. Next update at 17:00.

Update 2021-05-05 12:00

The maintenance is going on without issues. Creation of new login nodes on Bianca is currently disabled. Next update at 15:00.
